Raising Happier and Calmer Children

Living in a high-demand society is very stressful for children. The digital age poses many threats to childhood. From too much screen time, navigating social media and the enormous pressure from school, our children’s mental health is under attack. Every year, millions of children around the world are diagnosed with a behavioral disorder. It will only get worse.

Thankfully, there are practical solutions parents can explore that can protect their children’s mental health. My name is Tiffany Simpson, aka Super Mom and I provide parents with practical tools to help their children manage anxiety, stress and mood.

My journey as a cognitive behavioral therapist started 13 years ago when my son was diagnosed with autism. During this challenge, I taught myself to create computer games and mobile apps to help him overcome speech and social skills challenges. The results were amazing. Today, he is 16 years old and has a business in animation and illustration. He is also the founder of the Kid Influencer Network.

I have spent more than 10 years creating tools for parents to help their kids manage exam stress, communication stress and many other stressors. My most recent work includes the Read With Me Club and Speaking Autism.

In my audiobook, Raising Happier and Calmer Kids With Literacy-Based Fun, I explain very clearly, in non-technical terms how literacy-based activities can improve your child’s mental health. I also offer practical solutions and programs to support parents in managing their child’s stress, anxiety and mood.

Children naturally evolve to communicate and express themselves. However, when they are deprived of avenues to achieve self-expression, it leads to depression. The literacy-based activities outlined in my audiobook help to reduce stress and anxiety and promote joy and happiness.

A lack of self-expression is particularly damaging to the growth and development of young children. We get so busy as parents taking our children to school, getting them to extracurricular activities, and then back home to a screen or mobile device, that most children do not get a chance to read a book. We took being able to read a book for granted during our childhood. Not only do we subject our children to enormous levels of stress, but we deprive them of the time and resources to soothe their stress.
